Samuel W. Amstutz, MD

Samuel W. Amstutz, MD, is an oculoplastic surgeon at Grene Vision Group. As a board-certified ophthalmologist, Dr. Amstutz is fellowship-trained in functional and cosmetic/reconstructive surgery of the eyelids, tear ducts, and orbit. He has performed hundreds of surgeries each year. After more than 30 years of practice, he still enjoys the diverse challenges of oculoplastic surgery and the many patients that he is privileged to serve each day.

Dr. Amstutz received his undergraduate degree at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois and his medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago. He completed his residency and fellowship training at the Kresge Eye Institute, Wayne State University, in Detroit, Michigan. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He has provided critical surgical care in difficult and needy locations around the world, believing that God cares deeply for all people in all places.

Dr. Amstutz sees patients at Grene Vision Group for eyelid surgery in Wichita, KS. He also specializes in tear duct and orbital disorders. In his free time, Dr. Amstutz gains pleasure from yard work, reading, studying geology, biking, hiking, and international exploration of foreign cultures and places. Mostly though, he treasures time with his wife and adult children.
