"I have had the privilege of practicing in Wichita since 1986 and enjoy the friendships I have developed with my patients. Each day I come to the office and am excited to see who is on my schedule. I attempt to know my patients and not just examine their eyes. This adds to the experience for me as much as it does for the patient. We are surrounded by talented surgeons and technology that allows us to provide the best care possible. This is truly a wonderful time for eye care." - R. Michael Murphy, OD
Dr. Murphy is an active volunteer in fundraising for community organizations and has a special place in his heart for "The Lord's Diner," a not-for-profit soup kitchen that provides meals in Wichita. When Dr. Murphy is out of the office, he enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including golf and running.
