Charles R. Whitfill, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist with specialty training in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus. He received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Oklahoma. He then completed his residency at St. Louis University in 1999 and a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus at Emory University in Atlanta in 2000. Prior to joining Grene Vision Group in July 2005, he was in private practice in Longview, TX.

Dr. Whitfill specializes in medical and surgical eye care for children, and in surgical eye care of adult patients with eye muscle disorders. Areas of special interest for Dr. Whitfill include eye muscle surgery, pediatric cataracts, amblyopia, blocked tear ducts and minor oculoplastic procedures in children.
